Українське виробництво: як теніс надихає українських модельєрів

Tennis is deservedly hailed as the most fashionable sport today – on one hand, leading players on tour are becoming the faces of fashion brands, and on the other, designers are constantly drawing inspiration from the sport’s aesthetic. Ukrainian fashion brands are also engaging with this theme: this summer, we’ve seen numerous intriguing collections dedicated to the elegant world of tennis.

BEVZA

Ahead of Wimbledon-2025, Ukrainian designer Svitlana Bevza launched a collection of apparel and accessories in collaboration with Ukraine’s top-ranked player, Elina Svitolina. All items in the line are exclusively in white – a symbol of purity, strength, and light, which also serves as Wimbledon’s code. The capsule features reimagined archival pieces from the brand, appearing in white for the first time. Among them: an architectural dress that accentuates both a woman’s fragility and power; a hand-assembled diamond-patterned vest made from fabric scraps, supporting sustainable production principles; the signature hair bow, first introduced by the brand in 2018, now in a mini version crafted from silk taffeta. A special piece in the collection is a mirror pendant shaped like a tennis racket.

DUKACHI

Tennis is the name of a new collection of pendants from the DUKACHI brand, dedicated to Ukrainian women’s tennis, as today as many as seven of our female athletes represent the country among the world’s top hundred players. The golden silhouette of a racket is harmoniously combined here with a spike of wheat – a traditional Ukrainian symbol of nature, prosperity, fertility, and unyielding inner strength. Whether grass, clay, or hard court, each surface dictates its own rhythm and style of play. Since every player has their favorite court, the pendant’s concept allows for personalization with precious stones to match a specific surface. Emeralds symbolize clay courts, orange stones represent hard courts, and blue stones signify grass courts. A classic version of the jewelry with diamonds is also available. At Wimbledon-2026, Yuliia Starodubtseva and Dayana Yastremska chose these pieces for themselves.
