“In this collection, I wanted to speak of a different sensuality – profound, yet always restrained. Despite my love for daywear and a certain severity inherited from menswear tailoring, I am also captivated by femininity expressed through refinement, the preciousness of details, and slow movement. I feel that when a woman creates clothing for other women, her perspective on seduction is always different – more personal, conscious, and delicate. I hope to create pieces that remain in the memory of those who see them,” commented designer Silvana Armani.
As far back as the autumn-winter 2011/2012 season, Giorgio Armani named one of his collections “Boudoir,” inspired by lingerie aesthetics and pastel shades. Now, this theme returns, but in a much deeper and more enigmatic interpretation.
At first glance, it might seem that the entire collection is rendered in black. In reality, the designer works with a complex palette where shades of chocolate, chestnut, amaranth, dark green, and deep blue intertwine. These are complemented by almost imperceptible animalistic motifs – a characteristic technique of the Armani House, which manifests only in embroidery and decorative embellishments.
